Why Hire A DUI Defense Lawyer

Drink consumed by a possible drunk driver It is important to know that a DUI arrest does NOT always result in a DUI conviction. Furthermore, a DUI conviction does not always result in maximum penalties and fines. The main goal of a DUI defense lawyer is to minimize the negative consequences of your DUI arrest by negotiating with the prosecutors and/or challenging your arrest.

Fighting For Your Freedom

By working with an attorney you may be able to obtain a favorable outcome after being arrested for intoxicated driving. For example, an experienced DUI defense attorney can often help to:

  • Negotiate a plea bargain in your favor
  • Reduce the charges and penalties that you incur
  • Enroll you in an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program
  • Get you acquitted of the charges altogether

Many people are not aware of these alternative legal options after being arrested for drunk driving in PA and as a result, decide to simply plead guilty and accept the full consequences. Although it is possible to significantly improve your situation after a DUI arrest, you will need an experienced defense lawyer on your side in order to do so.

"Ed is the best! I was referred to Ed by a top flight civil litigator. I have worked with a lot of lawyers before, but none match Ed’s skill, enthusiasm, accessibility, and ability to get results. We came to Ed with a major problem and Ed deftly resolved it, keeping my associate out of jail. It was apparent to me that he was respected by the Judge we appeared before and the police that we dealt with. He was there every time we needed him, day and night, to counsel us. I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch attorney."
